For these treatments, we use appropriate oils (of which there are thirteen) from tropical plants, prepared specially for us in Sri Lanka. The oils are helpful in the elimination of toxins. They are chosen according to the patient’s mental and physical constitution and condition. Ayurvedic therapy is not a substitute for conventional medical treatment, particularly in the case of serious illness. Rather, it is a splendid complement.
